the same dull, hectic life made me part of my own routine.
i mean, it becomes a cycle that i have to start life how i do now all the times.
dull, bland, hectic, stressful.
not anymore words i can use to describe the life im leading now.
not much fun stuff happened today compared to ytd.
its always all the dull lessons that made me not myself.
sometimes, i couldn't keep up with some stuff;
other times, i just got rooted or i move too fast.
maybe today's one of the time killing days in the week.
have chem SPA which i consider to be quite interesting;
and then mr brady's SSP which was carefree and relaxed.
we can absorbed information easily in his lessons.
two tests tmr, eng and e maths.
not much confidence for the math part.
maybe one day i should really bury myself under a mountain of books for some time.
gonna start mugging later.
don't have the mood to do so,
but i have to force myself to it.
just found that im really very, very distant from my class.
and when i mean distant,
its more than how 2e3 dao me when i used to be in sec 1.
more like passer-by that me in the middle of orchard road;
we come and go with no interaction.
except for a few that sits beside me and my clique,
hardly i interact with the class.
and when they announce the winners of the class deco today,
i felt no sense of glory.
perhaps that feel of belonging have not develop,
or never it will develop.
was just thinking on many short term and long term things that are to come.
tests, FSD, RTC, Spec Course, O lvls.
life need a spark.
life needs some company.
yeah, but where i find them?

stop, walk, stop, walk.
sunday morning,
and i dun really have much to do today.
refer to my title;
i really want to have a stop from this hectic life,
and just take a look at the beautiful scenery around me.
always having thoughts on mind,
how many actually stop to admire the scenery around them?
take a break, make a stop;
look at those around you, admire those around you.
i rmb having games of poker with ervin ytd.
poker, i mean real poker.
those that you see ppl having lots of chips on the table,
two cards at their hand, five cards from the banker.
then suddenly they'll shout 'show hand!'
and then they lose ._.
the rules of poker is quite simple;
a player would get two cards,
and can choose to raise, bet, follow or hold.
then everytime the banker is going to open one card,
the player can choose to hold or bet or raise.
and in the end when five cards are open,
the player with the best combination of cards wins.
dun understand rite? play with me and you'll understand.
poker is a game of risk, deception and somehow, mostly luck.
it's like how are you going to make things out with the cards give to you,
bluffing your opponent, or choose to hold and give up on the game, then lose.
you have to pay a price to go through high risk,
in order to have high rebates coming back.
not only you depend on the cards given to you, considered as luck,
you also depend on your deception skills and flashy betting to bluff your opponent.
i played a game with ervin ytd,
and i found out how bluffing, facial expression and the amount of betting,
can actually get through your opponent.
raising bet to pressurise your opponent when you have no chance of winning,
following the call when you know you would defeat your opponent,
and also holding the cards as soon as possible when you know there's no chance of winning.
life, is like a game of gamble.
i rmb a previous post i portrayed it through blackjack and big two;
today i portrayed it through poker.
sometimes in life,
we have to bluff through things;
often, never let your true intentions to be shown.
always make yourself sound like losing when you're about to win,
often make sure that you give up at all cost when you're bound to lose,
to minimise causalities.
also, a game of poker isn't won by what kind of cards you get;
it depends on how you bluff your opponent.
its the same theory as driving a benz and a lorry;
however, how fast the car would go depends on the driver.
of course, you don't use the above techniques on the one you love lah :D
i always find out how much i would learn through gambling,
and how much gambling would always teach me not to gamble.
looks like i have some affinity with cards and chips.
and i dun really have much to do today.

shirohige and the division captains.
today have been such a wonderful day!
and see that tag by norimah?
yea, her tag reminds me of the good old days in HQ NCC!
those were the times....hahas.
anw, back to topic.
today HCL lesson spark a bit of fun in my life.
the tcher go read my compo in front of class,
and then ask the writer to stand up.
of cuz i deny and sit down thr. lmao.
then there's another super LOL reason that made me quite happy.
cant tell. MUAHAHA.
and i just screw arnd during the other lessons,
and manage to hold the way until NCC.
oh, and today the geog tcher used our VP 1 and OM,
to describe abt some geog stuff which make us laugh our way to heaven :D
trng was kinda okay for today;
expecting the same kind of thing every week.
i go for trng nowadays, because
1) i love those juniors,
2) free exercise.
and its like...
yeah by the time you reach sec 3,
you'll know the importance of academics.
some kind of dunno wad Part C meeting tmr.
there goes my slping time.
plus the hmwk and assignments.
there goes my weekend.
and today some things happen,
that brought me to a quote that i heard a year ago:
When you expect certain stuff from ppl,
you must also expect what they can give you.
argh, thinking of tmr,
and then the test to come and other stuff,
life's gonna be very packed.
but they always say,
make the best outta everything. yeah rite.
When you see others going through the growing process you once go through,
you can't bear to laugh at them, because they remind you of what you have been in the past, who then was so laughable.

That very teen.
he stood high upon the ground,
clenching his fist and had a smirk on his face.
he vow to conquer the obstacles,
he vow to accomplish his dreams.
high aspirations held in his heart,
the egoism and stubborn of that very impulsive teen.
months passed, events passed.
he was worn out, he was tired.
nevertheless he is still determined.
determined to realise what he had vow upon then.
he came across many incidents and people,
only to realise of the difficulty of his dreams.
time has never stop for him to catch a breath.
thankfully, he still hold on to his dreams.
the ever changing world seems to change what the teen has been.
but he felt that he will be the one changing the world.
he knew what he wanted from the start,
and what he will get at the end.
he fell down for countless times,
but he picked himself up everytime he fell.
he made wrong judgments often,
only to gain experiences from his mistakes.
he had been beaten by reality all the time.
only to make him tougher to make his own reality.
today he is still running,
running in full speed through present and future.
today he is still holding on,
that faded, yet familiar vow he made.
today he is still fighting on,
against all odds, for his dreams.
are you like what the teen is doing?
clenching his fist and had a smirk on his face.

Chiong Swa .
and its really a very, very tiring day today.
had hcl lesson at the start.
for my last two yrs in zhss hcl double periods have always seem to be hell for me.
except today. for no particular reason.
dunno why also.
pe, el, recess, e maths, geog.
then, went to eat lunch,
then walk arnd the sch awhile.
then change to NCC uniform and cca started.
had a hiong PT at the start.
surprisingly i can tahan throughout w/o feeling tired.
and still can do 5 pull up, which is like crap.
then had some drills.
which at the ending part all of us were joking away.
next week gonna be another busy week.
class duties, monitor appointment rehearsal, CCA, so on and so forth.
maybe that's sec 3 life.
or you can call it the urban lifestyle.
it get busier and tighter as the time goes by.
let me take a break this weekend.
yeah, spam call me ppl.

Busy, busy!
and i came to sch, and gathered my team of DJs.
and we arrange for the session for the song.
and after a damn curriculum and some lunch,
we did the music.
and after some effort(a lot actually),
some guai lan from aren and junliang,
we finished the song.
though i dare not say that its 100% perfect,
but at least its ZHNCC FSD first remix.
and it's the first CCA-collaboration btwn infocomm and NCC barhhs.
i look for more opportunities for both CCA to work tgt in the near future.
and oh, i might be strip of my monitor post.
99% sure. and guarantee.
and trng tmr.
now my mother screwed up my life in class. wtf.
but i think this means that,
dear Lord above is sending another bonus obstacle,
to train me to be a better man. haha.
i think the way im gonna get with life now,
is a little bit of screwed.
cuz ppl tends to break up ur plans this time.
but i nvr thought that it would be my mother. lmao.
but daijoubu, i think this just gives me more training to be someone better.
gonna be the end of sec 3 first week soon.
and PE tmr. tcher is ms talib.
PFT trng + hardcore running.
song arh!
off to settle NCC and schoolwork.

fruitfull wednesday.
The job of the Jester is to bring laughter and happiness into everyone's life. Not just the laugh for his hilarious actions, but a laugh for their satisfaction.
i believe thats what i nid to do.
as the class jester.
not just to bring laughs from ppl-
laughing at an incident or my actions;
i want to see their laughter.
i want everyone to be happy.
not just happy when i cheer ppl up,
but happy for everything they get.
so i volunteered to help in the class eating arrangement.
i want my classmates to be happy.
that's my job as a jester.
and my job as a monitor.
i believe that its my responsibility to facilitate things,
and also to make sure that the class is alrite.
thus i take up the job of seating arrangement.
i want to help to facilitate things.
but i believe that there will still be complains about my desicions.
that is perfectly alrite.
because as whatever executive committee does,
they must always rmb this quote:
You can't make everyone happy, but you must make majority happy.
that is what, perhaps most leaders should do.
i think that there will be many complains tmr.
well, i take this as an experience for me.
setting the class seating arrangement.
something i've never done,
something which i can learn from the process.

A lesson learnt.
i kept the usual cockster spirit today.
and then, things were pretty fine anw.
my history tcher is an ang moh :D
and the other tchers were still okay.
i was sent into deep thoughts about something.
'judging a book by its cover'.
well, let me narrate this scenario a bit, w/o censoring:
it was the first day of school, and elections for the class monitors were held.
for the PRC monitors preliminary rounds,
more than the required amount of gals contested.
everyone was listening with a normal mood to their rally speech.
and here came up a gal, who immediately caught the class' attention.
with big round eyes and fair skin,
and her silky long hair flows with the direction of the wind.
like her appearance, she had a beautiful voice too.
almost all the guys cast their vote for her,
raising their hands w/o hesitation.
and the rest of the contestants were defeated with low amount of votes.
and i brought my clique and mahjong kaki to my class.
standing at the corridor, looking through the windows,
a lady who stood in front of the notice board caught their attention.
'eh, very okay leh, not bad arhs, that one looks good'.
praises and comments sprung in a second.
and these praises were all dedicated to the monitress standing in front of the board,
who's looks never fail to capture no attention.
i was then wondering if she won by her sporty personality,
or her looks that many could never forget.
but how she won wasnt what im interested in.
im interested in whether if the voters voted for her looks,
and even treated her as an eye candy,
wanting class events to be done happily, to the eye.
then books are judged by their covers.
ppl are judge by their looks.
the rest of the PRC female contestants were of normal looks.
are we really so shallow that we judge a person by the outer shelf?
this indeed is one human nature,
and yet a major problem of the society.
in this way, talents with average looks will never be realised.
and the world's becoming more and more shallow,
judging by primary factors and outer shelves.
many would prefer reading a story with a fancy cover to a dull cover.
but many wouldnt know what the both books contain for them.
same like human being.
we like pretty gals and handsome hunks as eye candy,
but are we so sure that they can do their jobs right?
there are many dull cover books out there.
nevertheless, dull cover books,
open up yourself and show the others,
you marvelous, fantastic, non-fiction story you contain!
and last but not least,
thanks to that monitress cum classmate who gave me inspirations to write.

First day, first step.
and then i arrived in school.
went to say hi to my old frens.
then came the PRC scholars.
and then some of my other classmates.
and then after a series of talks in the hall,
we went to the classroom.
and then met our form tcher, classmates, blah blah.
can see that the class doesnt have a good impression of me.
nor that many would like me.
haha, but its only the first day,
maybe things will be better soon.
there's a lot missing from what i used to have.
not just the usual figures of my past year class.
its more of the passion, the spirit, and the feeling they give me.
its a more further away, drifting away feeling.
maybe tmr i should then bring back the coldness i once have in 2e3.
lessons are starting tmr.
yea, and then haven met a lot of tchers.
but what really interest me is how my classmates are like.
this time i have to prove to them im not how i seem to be. lmao.
a lot of things for me to start in the new yr.
soon i have to go to sch early, like last year.
maybe just to talk a bit to my classmates.
let's get myself going and pack my bag for tmr.

A journey to start.
2008, at this moment, i was having a kind of reluctant feeling.
2009, at this moment, i was also having the kind same kind of reluctant feeling.
2010, now, im still having that reluctant.
at 2008, im reluctant because i wonder what will secondary school life brings me.
at 2009, im reluctant because im at war with my class.
at 2010, im reluctant because i missed 2e3 so much, and i wonder what will tmr have for me.
the very same moments, yet the very different reluctant.
tomorrow is the start of school.
streaming, this means a brand new start for me.
at 2008, i was a nerd, i was childish.
at 2009, i was impulsive, i was hotheaded.
at 2010, i am strong, i am cool headed, i am serpent minded.
i haven't grow up on 2008.
i bore grudges and cautiousness on the start of 2009.
now, i am more than a serpent, more than a eagle.
the same person, the very different personalities.
two years of e3 took a huge change in me;
i wonder what will two years of e2 give me.
the teen that used to stand tall and boast about his ambitions,
is now a young adult that sits down and plan his targets.
going through so much with a crew of 40,
now another crew stands in front of me,
waiting for me with another adventure to begin.
i rmb how i first enter 1e3, a bunch of strangers to me;
i was loud, i was arrogant, i was childish.
but tmr i want to enter 3e2,
soldierly, cold, and silent.
i met various combination of personalities in e3;
what will i see in e2?
the brothers that stood with me since the start of e3,
are still with me.
a lot waits for me in the new journey, but i am reluctant to start.
there's a lot i cannot give up in e3.
in 2008, the child was still immature and arrogant.
in 2009, the teen was impulsive and a bit of loud.
in 2010, how would this young adult be?
2009, at this moment, i was also having the kind same kind of reluctant feeling.
2010, now, im still having that reluctant.
at 2008, im reluctant because i wonder what will secondary school life brings me.
at 2009, im reluctant because im at war with my class.
at 2010, im reluctant because i missed 2e3 so much, and i wonder what will tmr have for me.
the very same moments, yet the very different reluctant.
tomorrow is the start of school.
streaming, this means a brand new start for me.
at 2008, i was a nerd, i was childish.
at 2009, i was impulsive, i was hotheaded.
at 2010, i am strong, i am cool headed, i am serpent minded.
i haven't grow up on 2008.
i bore grudges and cautiousness on the start of 2009.
now, i am more than a serpent, more than a eagle.
the same person, the very different personalities.
two years of e3 took a huge change in me;
i wonder what will two years of e2 give me.
the teen that used to stand tall and boast about his ambitions,
is now a young adult that sits down and plan his targets.
going through so much with a crew of 40,
now another crew stands in front of me,
waiting for me with another adventure to begin.
i rmb how i first enter 1e3, a bunch of strangers to me;
i was loud, i was arrogant, i was childish.
but tmr i want to enter 3e2,
soldierly, cold, and silent.

Judgment.
Never deceive yourself in life,
Gods and spirits know whom to seek,
Good or evil deeds, you'll be judged,
Sooner or later, only a matter of time.
i quoted this from a book about the 10 courts of King Yama,
the 18 levels of Hell.
i believe the concept of hell is very simple for everyone;
a place where all sinners atone their sins.
i think our parents might have once used that as an excuse to motivate us to be upright and honourable men.
but as time goes by and all of us turn into youngsters, ambitious and greedy,
we soon forget the concept of hell, and 'hell' is merely a swear word.
i believe at our age, youngster are pretty much the same.
we have our dreams and desires.
we sought after them, by hook or crook.
we only care about fashion and sort.
as time passed, i believe that adults that used to be youngsters,
might have once wondered about death,
and even what will happen after death.
a system was set up by the creator called Karma,
to ensure equality and balance in the universe.
what goes around comes around,
sinners or sage, we all get our fair share.
but they set up another destination known as hell;
the destination for sinners who evaded karma.
it was told of how cruel hell could be,
and how one could descend to hell for a mere beastly thought.
it was also passed around that the punishment in hell will inflict on your incarnation;
a tongue ripped sinner will reborn mute.
i never thought much of sins and hell.
until recently, i found a book lying on my shelf.
entitled 'Journey to the Underworld',
it mentions of how the benevolent emperor Tang Taizong,
was summond to King Yama for judgment for his sins of killing his brothers and usurping his father's throne.
the story influence me strongly.
today, i led my life with a very simple principle:
we will have a taste of what we do.
sinning will only bring you punishment;
sooner or later, its just a matter of time.
today and the days to come,
if you ever think of sinning.
you want to remove someone due to your fear and jealousy,
you want to remove an able aide due to rumours.
you want to betray your friends for benefits.
beware. someone might be watching you from above,
and these sins accumulate to bring you bad karma or purgatory.
and christian brothers,
i heard that you will ascend to heaven after you die.
but i think you all dun wan to pay a heavy ticket to heaven,
considering your heavy sins?
the sea of sin is endless, return and you'll find shore.
whenever you want to do something sinful,
big or small, serious or not;
have the concept of hell in your heart.
have the concept of the bullhead and horseface guards.
have the concept of purgatory, punishment, knife mountain, oil cauldron.
you will then give up on your sinful human nature,
and seek internal peace, and satisfaction of yourself.
Do good and Buddha will protect you, do bad and you'll fall off the Bridge of Futility.

The first sentence of the first chapter.
today's the first day of 2010,
so i wish everyone a happy new year.
and i wish the Republic of Singapore
国泰民安,国富民强,兵强马壮,风调雨顺.
and i think there isnt much for me to celebrate on new yr's day.
and i think for both new yr's eve and the day itself,
im gonna try my hands on remixing songs.
had a first try, which was an epic failure.
then ltr a master taught me several tactics,
which im going to share with all of you ppl:
first song must be kilat and hiong,
second must be suka and easy to dance with the beat.
third must always suit some purpose for a rippleline.
use the transition part of the first song towards chorus,
for a transition to the second song;
likewise, do the same for the third too.
i guess there's still tons of shit i nidda do,
so perhaps i might collaborate with my infocomm of DJ frens.
and so, the new year's starting.
well, more homework to come.
and longer studying hours.
im off to remixing songs.
have a happy new year!
