hearing the masses

so i was randomly surfing on youtube,
and i chance upon this MV.
well, i do not waste time on youtube,
doing stuffs like mwatching korean MVs and learning those dances;
instead, i look for substance,
because i believe everything has substance in it.

very inspirational, i must say.
i bet there must be millions out there who prayed to the Goddess of Mercy;
yet unsure of her(his?) duties upon the Earth.

a brief introduction about Goddess of Mercy;
well, this deity has the power of looking and hearing the masses of the world;
their wishes, their woes, their pleas.
we can define her duties literally from her name:
guanshiyin, technically speaking, means 'listening to the world'.

it was passed down upon generations that She uses her abilities to help the masses;
hence, She is one of the most revered deity in Buddhism,
as well as Taoism.
the divine powers of the Goddess attracted so much followers,
that it turn out that she appears in cross-culture;
from Mahayana Buddhism to Taoism, and even Japanese and Thai Buddhism.

many families in Singapore has an altar at home;
which most families prayed to the Goddess of Mercy.

i'm just wondering if the Goddess could hear the voices of the masses in this world.

in a world full of turbulence,
we do need spiritual help in order to keep a peace of a mind.
i believe that the teachings of the Goddess is a good alternative for all.

whenever you do have troubles or problems;
look up in the skies,
put your palms together and pray to the Goddess.
perhaps Her powers could reach you.
