haste

it's another day gone.
just another day, like how it has been yesterday.
i came to realised that things that just took place weeks ago seem to be years back;
things that took place years ago just seem like it happened only yesterday.
in an urban society,
where stress increases everyday,
and where bad events took place to spoil our mood;
we tend to yearn for the 'good old days' which might not have been as worse as the current.

today is kind of pleasant.
and i, find it pleasant because i had a lesson learn.

"But I didn't said that! I don't remember saying that..."

"Yes you did! That's why she still remember until now!"

sometimes in life, i just find that we are a bit too rash.
too rash on our words, our actions, our thoughts.
sometimes we just want to vent the anger and anxiety in us,
and we just released whatever we have in us.
that includes words, actions.

and usually these rash words will cost us harsh situations;
sometimes, harsh to a point that it cannot be salvage.

youngster are always rash and impatient.
we tend to see the current good,
neglecting the consequences.

perhaps sometimes rashness results in certain downfall.
downfall that have dire and harsh consequences.

i don't know how much have i missed in life,
just because i am too rash at certain times.
i don't know what this rashness of mine cost me.
maybe sometimes some mistakes were made,
is because that we are too rash to think properly.

sometimes, hastening things does not solve the problem.
and asking for an answer hastily...
you wouldn't receive an answer that is up to your expectations.

of broken dreams and failed aspirations,
i must say, sometimes decline and downfall happens,
is because that we are too anxious and haste to see the results.
we don't think properly, we just action upon haste.
how much regret have such haste lead to!

tomorrow is another day.
like what one of my junior, te rong quoted,
"We still have a lot to experience, a lot to learn."
yes, even me, still have a long way to go.
tomorrow is another day of learning, experiencing.

be it losing, be it winning;
there's still a lot to be understand, there's still a lot to be enlightened,
on the way to Nirvana.

tomorrow, we shall continue our journey.
