today is a very sadistic day.

the morning was spent having fun with the teachers,
doing work, having lessons in the classrooms.
and then, life's getting better in class.
at least i tend to understand physics now.

the afternoon was hell.
i meant, after a good three months of slacking under joel,
my men were dormant, and their standards dropped drastically.
so, me and my committee had the job of picking up the standards.

i must say i am very sadistic and strict on my men.
shouted at them, gave them hell.
so far the comment from some of them was: not so strict.
hell i like those who can tahan the shit under me.

and their standards showed improvement just in one training.
very shocking; to see everyone drill like a supernumerary.
perfect pivots, solid bangs.
it's just kinda shocking to see how things progress so fast.

there might be resentment, there might be hatred.
let it be.
if not, the boys wouldn't grow to be men,
the men wouldn't fight to be heroes,
the heroes wouldn't soar to be legends.

if the rates are going this way,
then surely ZHSS NCC would be the best in one year's time.

it's really good to see how your men progress fast and quick,
especially when they are learning under your module.
and looking at some realising the efforts made;
it just makes me feel happy.
Craig, Luo Meng and Chin Ee, great improvement;
Bravo you guys did a fairly good job today.

it's still a long way to go.
to be a leader who trains leaders.
and for them, to succeed the world one day.

maybe one day those who haven't wake up,
will understand the pain and hardships the leaders put in.

only the military way would breed military men;
only the hard way will breed men of steel.
that's what i always believe.
