Imperfection.

so a thought struck me now, and i decide to do a bit of preaching,
since i've not done that for a long time.
yes, preaching. those posts that got many pointing their middle fingers,
and what that got many going on their kneels and shouting 'hail!'.

imperfection. this is what that many, or i shall say, all humans have.
the human race was born an imperfect race.
we all have countless of imperfection-
be it physical, metal or emotional.
on the streets you can find someone who's so ugly,
and someone who's a beggar, skiving around the town.

today, many of the things that appear around us seems to be so perfect.
we have various stars and celebrities,
who are show to be with 'good looks, talents, good personality'.
these made them seem like angel from heaven,
and all these images or illusions they give the public,
always cause a huge uproar everywhere.
be it meagan fox, korean stars, these are hot topics of all time.
their stories always start of with something like this:

one lad/lass from the village work his or her way to the town,
then trained very hard, and got spotted by the agency;
joined the entertainment company,
and earn big bucks.
typical stories of almost all stars and starlets.

people behind these stars are earning money,
by using them to produce a kind of 'perfect' image to the public.
the public actually got crazy with them,
is because that they envy for the looks and talents they have,
and idolise them, because the common masses would not have someone like them.

thus because of this, many people starts to perfect themselves.
be it clothes, be it cosmetics, be it surgery, be it diet;
they start anything that could make them feel even more perfect.
and because of these thoughts, many start earning money,
from cosmetics, diets, etc.
soon, everyone is able to look or be as perfect as they want to be.
they hailed all these perfections as world's miracles.
but to me, they are just portraying a fake image.

real perfection lies somewhere deep in our hearts.
that is the heart not to perfect ourselves,
but to perfect the world.
when one put the common masses before self,
he or she will do whatever to fulfill the masses' needs.
through this, he or she is able to portray their true selves and personalities.
when we joined hands to perfect the world,
the world will become a nicer place to live in,
due to all our efforts.

and by then, what that is contributing to this big jigsaw puzzle of world perfection,
is not just our efforts to help one another,
but also our very own shortcomings and imperfections,
which others tried not to cover,
but they helped us to cure it,
and also find ways to change our bad attitudes,
find ways to accept our hideous looks,
and find ways to cure some of our biased mentality.

if you are a perfectionist,
seeking for perfection in every area of life;
heed my advice, you journey of perfection can be started off easily.
try your best to help those around you,
giving the most your will and effort can give;
advise and amend all the shortcomings around you,
in yourself, in others.
throw away those cosmetics, those flamboyant clothes;
for they will only be a mask to your imperfect life.

perfection, a word that is spelled the as the most perfect in the dictionary,
but yet not the ultimate word after all.
to me, for what that contributes to perfection,
is not just only consisting of the care, help in my above words,
but also another very important word: share.

for all perfections and imperfections that are found on you, are what that makes you uniquely, perfectly yourself.
