Recruit Training Chalet

wah, finally i have come to the end of the RTC.
Recruit Training Camp, or chalet i would call it.
after a series of Operation Comedy and sort of,
yes, all of us do learn something from this camp.

thing were pretty same like how it is for every camp.
nightwalk, movie, food, drills, sort of.
first time i'm experiencing first hand with these recruits.
somemore recruits of the new generation.
there's a lot to teach them,
and chang jun and i had quite a hard time settling them.
well, at least in the end we did it.
manage to get the whole part A to coordinate in their drills.
at least their last parade they did it so perfectly.

in this 2D1N camp, me and chang jun had so much to teach the recruits.
all the ropes of NCC, all the uniform stuff, drills, and sort of.
and well, somehow this RTC is not a stage of showcasing for our talents in our various post and position;
it is a showcase of our teamwork and team coordination.
well, we did it; we proved to be one.
i remember when one of our mates lost something,
the whole platoon search high and low in the school,
searching for what our mate had lost.
first time i see a bagchecking and searching so strict.
and yea, we did it for our mate.

but there's something that leaves a bit imperfection to everything.
some platoon's PC was caught arguing with the camp OIC,
and not following instructions and coordinating with the other PCs.
well, perhaps this is the little imperfection that is going to add to our perfection.

i wouldn't say we have done something heaven for this camp;
but yet neither did we fail badly.
we manage to get the whole camp through,
and at least complete the basic objectives.

there's still a lot of room for improvement;
for the platoon, for the juniors;
and most importantly,
for ourselves.
